Accompanied by the District Chief Executive for Assin North District, Hon. Charles Ohene Andoh, the Member of Parliament for Assin North Constituency, Hon. Abena Durowaah Mensah led a team from GNPC to hand over the site and cut sod for the construction of a 6-Unit Classroom Block at the new site for the Breku Methodist School. The MP and the DCE had earlier cut sod for the construction of a 3-Unit Classroom Block at the same site which is steadily ongoing. The effort to relocate the current school compound from the middle of the town to a new site seeks to make room for the construction of market stores and lorry parks in the middle of the town.
In attendance at the ceremony were Hon. Assembly Members, Nananom, and the general public.
