Chief Executive
Hon. Charles Ohene Andoh is a dedicated young leader with a passion for STEM education and improved healthcare, leading the Assin North District towards human-centered development. He was sworn in to serve a second term in 2021 to guide Assin North’s journey to sustainable development.

We are characterized by undulating topography, with an average height of about 200m above sea level. We are also drained by numerous small rivers and streams including the Pra, Atofo, Ninkyi, Brupan, and Fum. We are endowed with several resources that have potential for development, some tapped and others untapped. These resources include gold deposits, rocks, sand and stone deposits, clay deposits, and forest resources (especially timber). We also have deposits of diamonds located at Akonfudi, Camp, and other communities.
